Red Rock Crossing is the home of one of the most spectacular views of the famous Cathedral Rock sandstone formation. In the winter, it is possible to get this view without the leaves blocking the sight of the formation. What's really great about this spot is to be able to use the rapids in the flowing Oak Creek as a curving leading line that brings the viewer's eye all the way across from right to left and then back again and right up to the rock formation. So many interesting compositional elements to this image. It will make a great decor piece for home or office.
Hello and thanks for stopping by. I've been a professional photographer for 30+ years. My degree is in microbiology and I did research work in that field for 3 years which sounds glamourous and exciting but in reality I found it to be repetitive and uninspiring. It does explain my interest in the tiny world and my desire to understand how things work.
