This Trumpet of Spring is a rhododendron glowing in the early morning sun announcing the arrival of a new season. It is just one flower in the cluster of flowers called a truss. The warm glow from the sun and the repetition of shape and color from the background flowers create an eye-catching flower photograph for decorating either home or office.

Hello and thanks for stopping by. My photography is a gift to you. It represents my way of finding beauty in the world and bringing it to you. I've been a professional photographer for 30+ years. My degree is in microbiology and I did research work in that field for 3 years which sounds glamourous and exciting but in reality I found it to be repetitive and uninspiring.
