Artist's Description
Swirls and Curls is an image by Mary Jo Allen that explores the gentle and delicate ways that dahlia petals unfold. Notice the petal extending from the center to the right as it softly lays upon another and then it's tip exactly mimics the curve of the other petal tip. The small swirls in the center create a contrast in texture to the pollen bearing stamens. Such a simple elegance emphasizes God's creation.
