Description
Soft Touch is a dahlia photographed with a special soft focus lens and a photographic technique that allows only a small portion of the subject, in this case the petal tips closest to the viewer, to remain in focus while much of the image goes to a soft blur of color. This type of image is more about the feeling that the flower represents than a statement of what the flower looks like. I call this ColorBlur.
