Description
Pinwheel by Mary Jo Allen is a dahlia with a surprise. The bright red and yellow petals spiral out from the flower center going from sharp to a gentle soft blur around the edges. The surprise is the one large rain drop held by the petal at the lower right and the three small drops cradled in the petal at the upper right. The movement of the petals around the center coupled with the surprise water drops will keep your eyes busy and your mind engaged.
