Artist's Description
Pelicans In Flight by Mary Jo Allen is a scene from the Washington coast although the location hardly matters as the sky is the only background. The large brown pelicans are flying in formation getting ready to migrate to warmer waters for the winter. The digital brush strokes create a painterly feel to this image while the monochromatic treatment leaves the eye with only the magnificent birds to admire. The overall feeling here is freedom of movement in a calm and relaxing environment. What a great image to place in your office or den.
