Peeking Tulip by Mary Jo Allen is a close up of a single tulip that seems to be leaning out from behind the leaves as if to take a peek at the world around it. The soft light coming through the petals gives an iridescent glow. The color of the tulip is repeated in the background by another blossom farther away.

Hello and thanks for stopping by. My photography is a gift to you. It represents my way of finding beauty in the world and bringing it to you. I've been a professional photographer for 30+ years. My degree is in microbiology and I did research work in that field for 3 years which sounds glamourous and exciting but in reality I found it to be repetitive and uninspiring.
