White Delicacy metal print by Mary Jo Allen. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
With an all white flower, lighting becomes all important. Here the light creates the dimension and depth needed to create form and shape while still maintaining a beautiful soft texture. Deep within the dahlia flower is a whole other world of color, lines and design that I use to create my ColorBlur images. They are simple, soft designs highlighting just a small edge of a petal or the artistic curve of a petal while using the softness of the rest of the flower as a soft background.

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I've been a professional photographer for 30+ years. My degree is in microbiology and I did research work in that field for 3 years which sounds glamourous and exciting but in reality I found it to be repetitive and uninspiring. It does explain my interest in the tiny world and my desire to understand how things work. I've always said I could be a professional student as I love to learn new things and photography certainly does provide that opportunity. Even after all these years I continue to learn new things every day. I find photography to be the perfect blend of science and art.
